I am in the seventeenth year as the director of the program. I have 25 years of early childhood experience. I am a large childcare center director qualified by State of Colorado Department of Human Services and have a level 6 in Colorado Shines. I have a Colorado Vocational Credential for Early Childhood Education and a trainer approval through the Early Childhood Trainer/Training Approval System of Colorado and teach Early Childhood Education college classes. I have a Master's degree in Educational Administration & Policy Study and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I am active in Reflective Supervision. I am a trainer and coach for Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Care and the Pyramid Plus Approach. I am a certified Touch points facilitator. I hold certificates in Advanced Infancy and Early Childhood Education Coaching. I am a trainer for the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework. I am a reliable observer for infant, toddler and Preschool and Kindergarten class. I am a trainer for EMBRACE, REAL Essentials Advance as well as Strengthening Families-Bringing the Protective Factors Framework to Life in Your Work. I am passionate about infants, toddlers, and those who care for them and promote resiliency and emotional competency for them. I am a huge advocate for children’s rights.
Genesis Rosales Toddler Teacher
Genesis is the Toddler Teacher. She has an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education with five years of Early Childhood experience. Genesis is Director Qualified for a childcare center and has earned a Level 2 Colorado Early Childhood Profession Credential from Colorado Shines.
Sandra Montes Toddler Teacher I am a toddler teacher. This is my first year at Step by Step. I worked the last two years in Akron at ABC Development Center as the toddler room teacher. I am currently continuing my education at MCC to obtain my associates degree in Early Childhood Education and working toward a 2.0 Colorado Shines Credential. I am infant and toddler certified.
Gabriela Beltran Infant Supervisor I am the Infant Supervisor and I have 2 years of early childhood experience. I am certified in Expanding Quality Care for Infant- Toddlers by The Colorado Department of Human Services and I am also certified in First Aid and CPR. I have taken eight Early Childhood Courses at Morgan Community College and I need to complete two more classes to become Director Qualified. I am a full time college student striving to achieve my Associates Degree in Psychology. I have a Level 2 Colorado Early Childhood Credential from Colorado Shines.
